just wanted to say wussup? i am here on vacation and right when i got here it started to snow. how are the pro's in this weather!! have a good day

not too bad

that snow was definately a pain in the ass to drive in but i only got stuck twice cuz the damn snow plows werent keeping on top of things... bastards... other then that i think the protege does quite well in snow. not quite as good as the accord i used to own but i bet is would go better then the civic i just got rid of...

Here's a pic of my poor baby stuck outside ALL NIGHT in the snow last week in Vegas. My car is never left outside, even in good weather...

I know that may not be all that extreme, but I live in Northern Cali. It never snows here.

it actually snowed here and i still had my rims and low profile tires on. needless to say my car sucked specially since the roads where like ice skating rinks!

With good tires and good sense of the road...Driving was good. It is all of the other people you have to worry about. Like the stupid Metro buses and the 4X4 can't stop trucks...

To give you the extent of my commute...I drive from Northgate to South Seattle...through the I-5 corridor...and I was driving normally through the snow on the first day....and the crappy frozen slush ice the second day.

I currently have 17 inch MK6 covered in Continental Extremecontact 205/40-17. And had fun driving around on the empty street as everyone was stuck in the snow.

Thats what I'm saying...I don't think it ever got above 50 degrees the week I was there...

I think the car handles amazing in the snow, I took my rims off, and put the stock ones with snow tires on. Handles better than my dads altima for sure.
And Kirill, I saw you flying on the freeway the other day. snow or no snow, you still drive like a maniac.

i was there when i wrote this thread and i know my car would not have made it around. we got 4 in here and i got stuck(and yes i do know how to drive in the snow) if i took my rims and tires off and put better snow tires on i would be fine

Its cold as hell here, i wake up and the fog has iced up my windows, and i have to scrape them before i go anywhere. Sucks at 6 am when you have class at 7...

ya thats what my girl tells me. she just starts her car when she wakes up and it is melted by the time she is ready to go to college
