engines and turbo

I have been trying to get my 1/4 mile time in my mp3 down to around 12. I have been looking at engine swap possiblities and the only one I can find is JDM Engines FS-ZE Engine. I was wondering if there were any engine swaps that with a turbo could bring me down to the 12 sec range???? I have $5,000 to throw around right now but am still saving for whatever it is I will need. If anyone would be kind enough to tell me some engines, turbos, and estimated hp it would be nice.

This should do the trick along with some nice urethane motor mounts and a heavy duty clutch kit.

Do you still want to drive your mp3 on the streets...legally...everyday?

I believe Spoolin has spent more than 5g's and has broke into the 14's...and maybe he would break into the 13's with slicks...but soon after...say bye bye to tranny.

5 grand won't get you 12's...to run 12's...it can be done...but the question is...do you have the time...money...and patience (all of which you need tons of)?

Are you thinking race only duty?...because a daily driven 12 sec fwd car doesn't sound like a pleasant experience.
