Engine rebuild pics

I'll post more later, but here's some pics of perfworks's engine rebuild (I helped him out some on it). I apologize for them being out of focus, I'll be sure to yell at the photographer.

Yay, time to modify the pistons to clear the oil squirters...took me awhile...

Too bad you can't see what I did really since the PIC IS OUT OF FOCUS! :mad:

Anyway, I took some metal off the right...there's a groove in there.

This is how it was when I left. Perf just had to put the head and accesories on the next day. yay.

didnt want too much aluminum taken away and it never hurts to get in there and do some hand crafting

no linux its a small potion removed for clearance on the jets underbody.
we found that if you bend them out of the way, in time they may break off the weld and you know what happens when some foreign object decides to find its way into the motors rotating assembly!!

But we only bent it about 1-2 mm. Don't think there will be a problem. At least I hope not!
