Engine Knocking????

ok here is the deal three days ago every time i started my car the engine would make a hard lound noise that sounds like knocking but when i start my car over and over again it goes away here is a video i took last night it sounds loud cause it was a cold start and it was like 50 degrees outside but you well hear a loud knocking sound in the first second or what what should i do and what is it.

get a mechanic's stethoscope and listen to the pump and the injectors as you fire up the car to determine if the sound is coming from there first.

well im checking my pid on the d.h and the ect is 125 and the fuel pressure is reading 430 to 550 it only does that when i havent started in a while like a few hrs but if i turn it on back to back i wont hear it at all

have you checked all the tsb's out for our car lately, there's one I saw for noises upon startup like that and I believe it was a tensioner for timing chain??? not sure tho but find all the tsb's for our car and I think you will have a solution

hmmm interesting ill check that out but when i got close the the engine block i can hear it come from inside the block i dont even want to say that i have a broke something inside the block like a rod or something

if something internally were broken, it would not be an intermittent problem. it would a constant problem and much louder.

This definitely sounds abnormal to me.
Sounds like rod knock at start up.
Almost like it's starved for oil on start up.
I dunno....I'd get it checked out asap.

no i havent yet but im getting all my things together and im going to have to go to stock over the weekend and take it to the dealer but im going to put up another video of a warm start 5 mins after shut down so you can hear the differents

Of course its a good thing...you rather pay out of pocket for repair?

Some of us no longer have an option to go to the dealers for warranty claims... (lol2)

lol ya i know well in the next 5-10 mins im takeing a closer better video so you can hear the knocking sound more clearly then other engine sounds

ok i just finished takeing the video here it is after running it for a few minutes it was already warm but i turned it off for 15 mins and here it is

valve adjustment? Kinda sounds like a valve ticking, but I am no expert. Good luck man.
