engine hesitation Mazda P5

I've ordered from Rock Auto before and had it shipped to Canada. They do it by the book and pay the GST for you so you don't have any nasty surprises when it arrives at your door. The price quoted on the last page of the check out is the price you pay. You even save the provincial sales tax as it is not charged. Duty charged can be nasty but Rock Auto works with Fed Ex to avoid all that.
My friend had a "free" sweat shirt shipped from the US. It cost him $40 for duty. My neighbor was stopped at the border with a racing axle that cost him $900 duty.

Perhaps if you list your province or city as well as country, it might adjust your time. Just a guess.

Brian the micro switch for the transmission can I get one in canada for a reasonable price thanks

I'm wondering why you want a new micro switch. Can't you just check for continuity at the connector ??

Hi guys , trying to revive this thread, I bought new coils, new plugs and installed them now I am getting a code p0303,(cyl 3 misfire detected) any thoughts on this .I'm not sure where to go from here. Thanks Alex

New plugs? Gapped?

the wires going to the coils are just as likely to be the culprit as the coils themselves.

if the ground or power is corroded then the coils will not be able to function

yeah if this just popped up, probably something with the plug/coil installation...new coils have VERY tight fittings for the wires and electrical harness...make sure both are pushed on far enough click in place...with the plug wires, try to grab tight enough around the coil side rubber boot that you're actually holding the connection inside...and you'll better be able to tell when it snaps into the coil...also, make sure the plug side boots snap down in place around plug itself...everything with new parts like this is a pretty tight fit...

if that isn't it...any other codes thrown with the p0303? Any p0421 or p0660?

GOOD NEWS , wires were the culprit,my guess is when coils broke down may have fried the wire. I pulled plugs and num 3 looked brand new like it wasn't being used or firing and took wire from num 1 cyl and put it on num 3 and it was getting a whitish film on the metal adjuster on plug. Thanks to all who helped with my headache and pcb who pm'ed me and worked with me to resolve this issue.Have a great day.Only sad note maybe is that parts source didnt have ngk wires so had to use champion wires anyone know about these

the bad news is that the Champion wires are garbage ,I tried to pull them off of the plugs and it separated, one half stays down in hole, anyone have a similar problem.

one half? The boot often 'slides off' the plug wire...with pretty much any brand, but did it break in half or something? As brian said; wires are wires on an other wise stock p5...none of them will last forever...and all of them will last 75k miles plus, and thats being pessimistic...if the rubber boot simply slid 'up' on the wire and connector...just push it back down...
