Engine Dress Up

Does anyone know of any good engine dress up kits??? I have searched through a lot of stuff, but I have hardly found anything for Proteges. I think I have visited 100s of websites searching for stuff, but all I find is honda and acura stuff! Any suggestions would be much appreciated!!!

yeah they just have the hose stuff. I am actually look for more of the caps and stuff like that.

hmm i know Hose Techniques makes mainly the hose or covering stuff but i dont know who makes caps and stuff like that. i have seen people just paint them with high temp paint and such.

or like they said, hose techniques stuff, ground wire stuff, paint motor parts yourself. check out razorp5's motor. very very nice. good luck! - chris

how was the installation of those the crome sleeve kits?? and how much was the doing chrome jobs for your engine?

The chrome was about $300 in total.

The oil cap and radiator cap are from APC - few bux each from PepGirls.

Its an APC special. I got it at Hyperformance, but might try PepBoys or Autozone.

the crome sleeve kits... by ractive. i found them on ebay and got them for $25.00 SHIPPED to hawaii haha. the radiator hose is a real b****. i double hosed it, looked nicer, but if u're going to do it, use two people, well i needed help from someone else at least. pirana is talented, im sure he did it alone haha. but the crome sleeve kits run for like... $50.00 or so. just wait on ebay for a good deal. good luck! - chris
