Not that the mototune guy is wrong but you would think the engineers who managed to design the Mazda engine, etc. would know something about breaking an engine in when they recommended 600 miles of no redline... and the breakin period and process is more than just for the engine... the brakes need proper break-in, tranny/axle/wheel bearings... the dont drive at a constant speed isnt intended solely for the engine.... I dont think driving it softly or hard is the key but varying the type of loads and speeds over a moderate engine rpm range..... but thats just my two cents...
