have your tt power a contactor that keeps the fuel pump going. wire your cut-off switch in parralel to that contactor. when you leave your car, turn the switch off, the contactor maintains the circuit across your pump, and when the tt shuts off, so does your contactor: the pump is electrically isolated...sickspeed94 said:i'd like to find a rememdy for this that still allowed use of a turbo timer. because if you turn off yur car and the TT is running, then cut off the fuel pump and... uhh.. that would probably be bad??
i'm not worried about the blown engine, they can always order another one. what worries me is the potential damage to the chassis/suspension. since i'd keep all the parts, i can always rebuild the old engine over time assuming the block and crankshaft isn't out of specs...MazdaNeal said:I think that would look mighty suspicious to the insurance people.
