Hiya! Been on the forums for a bit now but I own a Mazda2. I often lurk around the mazdaspeed protege part of the forum because these cars have always intrigued me. I'm interested in buying one as a second car for the track... I was curious how hard it was to push 180 to 200 wheel out of these cars? That is what I would be aiming for. Any info would be great this would be my frist turbo car as well thanks guys!

They are a great beginner turbo car, it was my first as well. 200whp is possible with the basic bolt ons and about 10-12psi on the stock turbo and drivetrain.

Good to know they look like a lot of fun and thank you for the input. This may sound super lame but I'm a huge fan of loud blow off valves do they have many options out there for these cars?

BOVs are universal, not made for any specific model so you just need a flange to mount it and a vacuum source. I run an HKS and its loud
