Has anyone tried an electric exhaust cutout on their p5? I'm thinking about doing this, but want to see how it went for other people. How were the gains?

this would divert the exhaust flow out of the system at a point before all the bends/cats/resonators get in the way of the overall flow. think of a railroad switchover type principle.

There's a guy on here who put a manual one on his Speed. works wonders for boosted. I've thought about it for my 5, but the gains aren't worth the $$ at this time. But there are gains. if installed properly, it give you the ability to run catless. you could run a dump like and have it exit off to one side, and when it's time to run, scare the crap out of people because your mild car just got wicked loud. and if you see a cop, throw the switch and say that all the nose came from the guy with a fart can.

if you get it, keep your stock exhaust for emissions and stuff like that.
