could a dirty EGR valve be related to a random cylinder misfire? sometimes when i start my car, the idle is at literally like 100-200rpm and hops around and sputters, then eventually evens itself out. got the cylinder 3 misfire code when this started happening and it gets progressively worse. motor hasnt cut off while this happens yet tho. i read about cleaning the EGR valve and it fixing some of these problems but could this and my CEL for the misfire be related at all?
