EGR bung thread

Anyone know what the thread is on the EGR bung of the exhaust mani?

I'm not sure how to measure threads, other than with a thread gauge. That's where I got the 1.5 from:

I think it's M17x1.5 or M18x1.5

I stripped the one on my header and want to order a die to clean it up, but not sure which one to order.

M18 does not equal 18mm, right? Because 18mm is too small. Your best bet is to go buy a nut that is M18x1.5, M17x1.5, etc, and find which one works. Then order that die. That's how I do it

Good idea, nuts are cheaper.

M18 = 18mm, it's the diameter across, but I don't know if it's measured to the bottom of the groove, the top or the middle.
