Ecutek for Speed3

Looks interesting. From looking around on their website it doesn't look very easy to use for a common person like myself, their dyno graphs look good but I think it's important to point out that I'm pretty sure they used an engine dyno. Unless their dyno is just really really generous with it's results. I think it said baseline torque was 288 and baseline hp was 255. Pretty close to stock crank numbers. Couldn't find a price, would be interested to see how much it went for, and also what it looks like.

Browsed the site a bit and it doesnt say it supports the N/A ecus..?

You're really better off browsing some of the local Mazda forums in Sweden. Up until this post, I'm sure 9 out of 10 MS3 owners have never even heard of Ecutek and/or that they made engine management for our cars. With that said, most of us in NA either have gone CPE or Cobb's AP. I know the AP comes out quite a bit cheaper than the 1200 Ecutek is asking for and it's completely user tuneable and can go back to stock in a matter of minutes.

After I posted, I noticed that you were from Sweden. The fact that they don't support the US ecus its quite easy to assume that most of us have never heard of ecutek. Sounds like a great tuner though.

dont do ECUTEK..it is only a reflash and once reflashed i dont think you can go back. and you can only have one map in your car...your getting less for more $$$

Hey OP..you could order a Cobb Accessport..then get in touch with Cobb/Surgeline tuning and see if thier head tuner can give you a "e-tune"....Just a suggestion...good luck with thatever you choose
