ECU Reprogramming

dude, he probably has codes to be able to program the ecu......it's like having CD's and installing them on your computer.........
but the actuall code of the program is kept under mazdas strict supervision.

people who work with it sign confidentiality agreements.....and i dont think any of them will risk their job so that 100 or so people can re-tune their cars.

People make emulators for video game systems. Game companies design the systems to deter such behavior, but people always find a way.

I guess the amount of hackers out there interested in games outweighs the number that is interested in cars though. If the binary files for at least the two different flashes were somehow available, you could analyze the differences as a starting place for figuring out what all the values in the flash are. From there you could start creating your own flashes.

i think they should. i'd send them a thank you card (kiss) .

i saw the MSP that was used to develop the flash.
and i think the guy that designed the flash is the only one who could actually change it to anything he wants.

that car drove better than any MSP i've ever been in (but only about 10% of his adjustment made it to the actual flash that mazda released).

what i want is the callaway ECU for MSP.....the original ecu that this car was designed for.
stock boost was 9psi. it had 200whp stock. then mazda ****** it up.
there is one callaway ECU out there, and that car is quick as hell, even in its stock form.

did i mention that callaway originally designed MSP to have hard pipes??
