Ok...I have done a lot of searching, but I cannot find an answer to my question. I need to know if anyone is currently running the stock mitsubishi eclipse 16" steel wheels on the MS3. If not, does anyone know if they fit. The bolt pattern is fine at 114.3x5, the wheel bore is fine at 67.1 mm, but my question is about the offset. According to other posts here it seems like the tire rack 16" steelies use a +42 mm offset. From what I have found these wheels should have a +46mm offset. Does anyone know if this is too much of a difference to clear the brakes? The only other offset that I have found refrence to is a +52 mm that the person said just rubbed a little. If anyone has any useful information I would greatly appreciate it. My car is in desperate need of snow tires, but I am not in the best financial situation right now.
