Hey guys, how well would an intercooler like these work with cooling around 12-15 psi from the stock turbo? Would having a bar and plate intercooler make the air alot cooler, or will these ones do? I know they are just cheap ebay knock offs, but a fmic is still alot better compared to the stocker right. What do you think of the prices?

the first one looks too big.

all of those will require you to do some cutting of the body and bumper reinforcement... find one around 21x6x3 and you'll be good to go for some custom mounting and piping.

I found a nice spearco core ic on ebay as well, but forgot to include the link...was like $350 and the perfect size 25x6x3

so should i be counting on 25x6x3 to be the best fit or 21x6x3? There is lots to choose from and most seem to be from canada so maybe i can just go pick it up

If you're not lookin to cut the bumper rebar then the tallest you can go is 5.5-6".

whats the size of yours? Looks like you could have gone another few inches taller..?/ (still looks mint though) (shocked)

It's 5.5" tall...sits right on the rebar. I had to modify the bumper cover below the ic for it to sit flush on the car.

Those intercoolers are great (One sold by Reddogmotorsports). My friend has one on his 4G63 swapped Mirage which I did. He boost 20psi daily and 25psi on race gas. His intercooler has held every bit of it and it gets warm if anything.

My friend also bought one for his SR swapped 240 which I did also, but I have yet to put the intercooler in.
