You should be fine. Just make sure you do change them.
i'd wait to do them all at once... no point in doing the work twice

got the front all done, squels a lil, i think they just need to break in, but the rear was being a pain in the A, because when you take the caliper off, and take the pads out, that lil O part is out, and need to go back in to put the new pads on so they fit over the rotor, well we couldent get the driver side in so we called it a night and will work on it again within the next day or so. otherwise the front looks badass, i didnt paint the calipers, got too lazy
Thiers a allan screw on the back that you need to adjust to get the piston to go back in! I belive its under a boot. This is becuase of the E-brake.
what if i disconnected the e-brake? which i did, or is that allen screw need to be released still? My dad and i are going to try to finish it tomorrow so we will figure it out, otherwise im happy with the front, minus the squel and the smell??? is that just cause everything is new?

Going to paint the calipers black, I presume?
Could you post pics when it's done? I'm buying wheels hopefully this week, and I was also thinking about doing the black powdercoated rotors and painting the calipers black... so pretty similar to your setup, except I'm rocking Sunlight Silver, not white.
But yeah... pics would be sweet, if you've got the time.
If you release the brake via cable I dont think you would need to adjust the screw. However have fun getting that thing back on. I've never done it like that but from what i understand its a pita to get back on.
hey guys, got the rotors installed!! I love them, decided not to paint calipers because i was just getting lazy, after 2 days of getting the broken lug off and 2 days on the rotors (im a rookie so dont hate) i just didnt feel like painting the calipers, one day ill get bored and ill do it, plus my twm short shifter came in the mail so i want to work on that now. anyways i got a ? for everybody, how come after installing the rotors, washing the car, driving about 7 miles to my apt the rotors have rust on them?
where on the rotor is the rust? if you didnt leave the guy feedback yet i'd put something in it about them rusting so everyone else knows.
basically it'll rust no matter what. drive a few miles, and use the brakes, and the part that the pad touches should be rust free for at least a while. the washing is what caused the immediate rusting, most likely.
you're not talking about the powdercoated part are you?
Nah.. it'll be fine. It's just that air and water = rust. Not a thick, hard to deal with rust... just a thin little layer that'll disappear after you get on the breaks a bit. The rust will come back, but it'll also always go away.
