ignore the crappy valve cover, its the one that came on the new motor. i have a different one i'll be using. these were just test fit pics so the engine bay is still a little messy but you guys get the idea:

i needed to have the thermostat housing modified cause my new DP hit it, and had to have my egr pipe extended. so both of those are back from being welded. car was worked on yesterday and should be also all day today. its just a matter of time now that we have all the right stuff....i hope hahaha.

Great looking Mani I can't wait to see the dyno results.
Since you went the custom route did you consider having them shift the turbo a few inches to the right? If you had them do that you would have created enough clearence to go with a 3" DP.
I'm running a Gt28RS and when I loose a few bolts off my DP you can feel the difference of the Turbo liking the better air flow. Grant it I'm running a stock DP so a 2.5 would be a great upgrade, but I'm sure the cost would have been the same to go 3"

i have a 2.5 stainless dp. i'll be having a different one made again later probably. we'll see. ill post a pic of everything installed soon now that it is all fully on.

I saw that you were having them make a DP for you as well. I was just commenting on the fact if the plans are the go custom. might as well, take advantage of the custom work and be able to fit a 3" DP. Part of the problem fitting a 3" DP is the lack of space. Just a couple inches to the right and the damn thing would fit without any issues!!

Even bigger makes even less space unless you ditch the AC 3" for sure won't fit

wow that sucks but.. custom turbo mani for the win.. this one looks verry good.. i have one in the make for my car.. sizeing aa good size radiator.. to fit the snail..

pretty sure he chopped the EGR fitting off the stocker and is keeping it for future possible reinstallation.
