Eat it up guys! The new turbo manifold... :)

you heat wrap headers to keep that heat out of the exhaust out of the engine bay, and more importantly intake charge. but last I checked you want to keep exhaust velocity up, so cooling exhaust gasses before turbo wouldn't be beneficial.

whatever dude, you talk s*** about it but you pour money into a car you didn't even drive all summer like its your singular pride and joy.

not my pride and joy whatsoever...i just dont drive the "nice" car in bad weather...i think that is just being smart? why dont you go have a smoke and cool down. i didnt know that guy was your bf...

i thought heat= energy.... isnt that why we heat wrap header(s)??

we heat wrap headers so it keeps the radient heat focused and not all over your engine bay. but in a sense ya you wanna keep it local. the cooler the car runs the better

a mod can delete this post, mazda kids are rediculous. s***, i would have gotten a better response on honda-tech, thanks supporters. i appreciate it, for those who saw the manifold and are interested hit me up. you'll be the lucky ones. for those who missed this opportunity thats too bad to you guys.

please delete! thanks

oh and one last thing, obviously you're not too smart with turbo cars, the "restrictive" bends, add length to cool exhaust temps...cooler exhaust temp=more power you tard. sorry you dont have a cool manifold like some of us :)

i love the manifold and it is in no way restrictive if it runs anything like my mam, but i have to call u out on this one. hotter exhaust gases make for faster exhaust flow, header wraps help with this but can also create hot spots in which u can actually crack ur manifold. egt's need to stay reasonable ofcourse but the cooling process happens after the turbo, in the charge pipes. not in the exhaust itself!

dont close the thread dude! this looks like a great product, and for the guy knocking it and saying steed is better **** OFF if u wanna run a ugly ass machined block underneath ur hood go for it, for those who want a work of art actually made by human hands peice by piece and not 3 machined pieces welded together then this is the rought to go. i am not knocking steed in any sense, the product is just not my taste.

apparently you define knocking differently than I do.

Aside from all that, play nice. Opinions and assholes, have one, don't be the other... we can all get along, I swear.

wtf is going on? this is a sick ass manifold, who cares how much he paid or how much hp he gains out of this

HE paid for it, so i think he should really be the only one who gives a ****

i wasnt knocking it as a performance mod, its a great product! but it looks like ass! u can tell urself it looks good all day long but in the back of ur head u know that this kids and MAM manifolds are just more apealing, and they perform well too! i wasnt fighting with anyone, just putting in my 2 cents. ive been around and tooled with my protege to know what works and what doesnt!

each design has its strong and weak points. depending on what you want, that determines what you buy. either way, I can't wait to see that mani dan, gettin your car outa that shop is LONG overdue.

oh its on, that is why mp3 made that comment, he helped me get it on! my car never stays in a shop overnight, i take it to the body shop side of where i work, put it on the lift or jack stands and get to work. its not a garage queen whatsoever, its my daily driver and i use it like one! im gonna end up wrapping it, the coating started flaking off already, i made the shop refund my money that i had do it and now im just gonna wrap it!

i was talking to the OP, whos name is dan. he lives a mile from me...

haha yeah he's not callin ya out at all. sorry for me freakin out but i just get irritated when guys run these fully built protege's and think they are something amazing. nice yes, but for the same money you could have much more with a differnet application...

i love and hate my msp. it was decently quick stockish, and now should be even better once its tuned. and when and if its built it will be nice. my main reason for still owning it is they are few and far between.

sorry i got heated...some people just dont understand what time and effort goes into making something with your hands. hell, i can draw on CAD to make a cnc manifold. i love the steedspeed's idea, i think its great. just not what i wanted style wise and the turbo im running wouldnt work with it anyway so i had to take a different route.

thats enough from me. new pics soon.

X 1,000,000 This manifold is a work of art. There have been many people try to make tubular manifolds and they all look like s***. This and the MAM manifolds are the best I have ever seen for our cars. For sure!

although my manifold does have a few fitment issues lol! hopefully ull be good! u should go external wastegate. lol that would be bad ass!
