Has anyone heard of an e-management program for the MS6? Like EcuTech for the subarus? I think a re-flash of the ECU will free up some restricted power... Any news of the sort would be great.

Cpe is also working on a plug and play piggy back system for tuning

Well it's been two years since this thread originated and a lot has changed. There are several options for tuning/Engine Management products on the market today. This is excellent news, but is there an open source program available for the MS3/6 on the net for tuning/Engine Managment? I'm not looking for something that will replace the aftermarket products completely, but I don't want to pay for something that has all the bells and whistles when I don't need all the bells and whistles. So if you know of anything please let me know, besides if it's open source we have the oppurtunity to develope it within this community.

people have also had success with the xede

not so much success with the proceed.... but that was probably just bad tuning, but there hasn't been much talk about this since a handful blew motors - I'd avoid this one of course, just in case there is something wrong with the way it attempts to (unsuccessfully) modify certain signals

You missed my questions, I know about the aftermarket tuners you can purchase. My question was, is there an open source program for tuning/engine management for any Mazda, but more specifically the MS6? The Subi owners have an open source program for their cars, I want to know if we do.
