got the back brakes fixed( frozren cal ) but now i have no e brake the mechanic said he adjusted it all the way.
can anyone run down the steps or how to adjust the cable on the e brake for me
im thinking he must of adjusted them the wrong way.

Do the brakes work correct otherwise? The e-brake cable may have fallen off its bracket at the caliper. Is the handle just real loose? Have you tried to adjust it?

Take off the ebrake cover surround on the center console and the adjustment bolt is down there...

no, no , no. the proper procedure per the shop manual is to make the adjustment at the caliper. need to pop the cover bolt out, turn the gear until it stops, then back it off 1/3rd of a turn.

alternately, and i've had success doing it this way, is to pop the handle up 4-5 clicks, then turn the adjustment screw until the pads contact the rotor. button everything back up, and enjoy.
