Dynoed my MS6 today...

Well I was expecting a better HP number, but my torque was where I expected. These seem to be in line with untuned MS6s with my mods so I'm not really concerned as it's just my daily driver. I'd like to tune her and get the gobs of HP left in there, but that $ will go to my next project.

What we noticed is that the computer is apparently telling the car to stop giving throttle at a certain point as seen in my graph. It wasn't fuel cut, pulled timing, etc as we checked all that. The ETS TMIC is also very disappointing IMO after the 5 or so pulls I did. This thing is supposed to take care of a lot of the heat soak? It certainly has failed in my eyes. Did one pull then another a couple minutes later & bam, numbers are down around 20 less HP!

Mods are:
ETS TMIC
AEM CAI
TXS BOV
CP-E Cat-back
Race pipe

This was done on a dyno jet in 4th gear...

245 WHP & 270 WTQ
She was pushing 17psi as you can see

I think your numbers are pretty damn good! Dyno is not a real test of what the TMIC is capable of though. Driving is where you should notice the biggest difference. The TMIC is meant to have cool air rushing over it at all times. A dyno will not give you that unless you have a fan hooked up over it. Your car is more than likely pretty damn quick on the street though! How much was the TMIC you got?

$545.

I plan on running her at the track in March. I'm hoping she is capable of low 13s.

not sure youd be able to cut a low thirteen with that wheel hp...
perhaps with a low sixty foot..

You never know, trap speed is what will help you determine your real hp opposed to a dyno... Good luck on the track!

Yeah, I wouldn't look too much into that dyno. The real thing that matters is what numbers you put out at the track. There's just too many variables behind a dyno, and they are all so different, so there never is any true accuracy. Several times at the track under different weather conditions, and mastering how to race is the ultimate key. This is why I don't dyno my car. I hit the track to see what I can do, but I havent' done it on my Speed 6, as I just don't trust the durablility to launch like I did my STI, and the Speed 6 really has become my winter beater, so (I ain't modifying it. GOOD LUCK!!!!

I don't have a boost controller + the stock turbo is not efficient beyond 17. Like I said, this car is done. She's ok as is. My money is going into other projects. The MS6 is my daily driver.

it may not me effeciant but is sure gives alot more power at 18psi vs. 17psi i can tell you that. an extreme kcik in the midrange difference...

Nice numbers.

How's the rear end holding up?

It's fine. I have only done a handful of practice launches in a parking lot. I'll take her to the track only 1 or 2 times most likely & be done. Don't want to kill my daily driver. I can't launch this car for s*** anyway. (rofl)
