I like the dunlops. Their really good in the rain, and stick like glue on dry pavement. But....they also stick so good, that every single piece of sand, rocks, or debris on the road gets stuck to them, and flicks back at the bottom of the car.
Everytime I go over any kind of sand or small pebbles, it sounds like the car is getting pounded or sand blasted. And it's evident, as I 'm getting wear spots underneath the back skirt behind the rear wheels. Paint is actually starting to wear off from getting hit with sand all of the time. It's only minor though.
Now, I've had ground effects on other cars, and this had happened to them too. But, that was after 2-3 years. Not 7 months. I'm blaiming it on the Dunlops, because when my winters are on, you could hardly hear any rocks getting flicked up underneath.
I'm thinking my next tires, probably next spring, will be maybe proxies, or Pzero's. 215's for sure. I just love the way proxies look though
