well i think ive decided the legacy isnt for me. its too heavy and everthing has to be rebuilt/changed to even be safe to auto x and it seems to be a money pit im not willing to venture into. so im going to keep this until i find another candidate and sell it. im thinking a miata/MR2 will be what im shooting for. im going to get the legacy running better and get rid of the CEL and sell it for around 1800-2000. i know where i can sell it that cheep easy. so if u can be on the look out again. im trying to keep my price range in the 1500-2000 range and cheeper is always better. anthing lightweight and auto x worthy please apply. haha i even looked at a 92 si for $700.

a CRX si would be the way i would go they are cheap and parts are wicked cheap for upgrades plus you wont have a shortage of input on whats best at auto x for them

if i buy an impreza im keeping the legacy. the motor swap is a must. EJ22t (160 hp, 180tq) powered Impreza that weighs 2800 lbs (300lbs less) all it takes is a turbo swap and your golden. very fast cars once swapped. im looking for NA to tell you the truth. turbo's r fun but i loved my protege on the track and having complete control was so much more fun. when turbo'd the car was violent when tq kicked in and running an open diff made easy corners in NA for an understeering nighmare! Korey the CRX might not be a bad idea. kinda want something alil more easy on the eyes too though cuz i do want my GF to still ride with me haha. but still turbo's arent still totally out of the question

How about an 89 MR2? I think I'm going to sell mine pretty soon. Right now it has an ST front swaybar and new Tokico shocks, basically E-stock. I think it could be fun to set it up for STS2 myself. It also has a bolt in roll cage that is SCCA legal.

I just did a bunch to "freshen" it up, and it's running really strong right now.

Keep it in mind. ;)

Heck, I'll sell you my MP3 for if you're itching to get back into a Mazda, we know it is very autox worthy, and reliable :D

actually wayne thats one of the cars im looking at. what would you want for it? im kinda on a limited budget but im thinking i can sell the Legacy for 2-3k on some subaru boards (they r crazy rare) i love 1g 2's they have a ton of potential. i actually looked for a long time to find one but never could. lemme know i am very interested. i also work for toyota so parts would cost me almost nothing!!

I don't have any pics of the MKI yet. But I'll try and get some once the weather breaks. I need to get some of the MP3 to get ready to sell also.

a friend of a friend told me a guy is selling a 93 Si Hatch for 1200$... one of those guys who doesnt know what he has.. let me know i can maybe get more info on it.

where is it at and is it in good condition? id really like to see that MR2 wayne if you get an chance and decide to sell it.
scott ill get another pro if you can find me one thats used for a good price, i definitly dont want another 3rd gen though and 2nd gens are ugly as sin. so that only leaves 1gs/323
