wanna know anybody done dual amp setup for ms3(one for bass, one for the interior speakers) with stock headunit? i got my bass amp done already with an RCA conveter, but couldnt figure it out how to run the interior speakers with a 4 channel amp. i took it to the shop, they told me it would work in stock headunit, but i need some type of processor?? it wont be worth the money rather than the aftermarket headunit.

Bose or not? upgrading the bose is pretty easy

Ill assume bose with the GT in the name.

take a look at my how to, the setup is about what you are after, just that the bass amp is integral to the enclosure

I bought the harness that design found, but it is not the right one, close, but not the same, dunno if sonic sent me the wrong one or if it is for the back of a sport HU or what. so I am still using my homemade harness connector

Duh, I missed the GT part. :P

You need one of these to tap into the bose amp.

It takes some time to prep it, but it does work:

Be warned that you will either need an amp with differential-balanced inputs (JL & Kicker amps have them) or you will experience horrible ground loop noise, or have to buy isolators.

sorry.. mine is sport not the GT. its pretty easy to do a single bass amp. my question is i want a better sound quality(not just boom boom) but also keeping the stock headunit, so i bought another 4 channel amp to run the interior speakers, i got all the parts until i got stuck on the RCA wire, how do i hook that up?(currently im using SCOTCH RCA CONVERTER for my bass amp). i even took it to the shop, they told me there is no better way to get better sound quality without a aftermarket headunit?

You can use a JL Audio CleanSweep to both clean up your signal and give you a speaker wire input and RCA output. You can also use a JL Audio CL-RLC to split the rear line to feed a signal to a sub amp.

The CleanSweep will fit in the dash if you don't have NAV and the CL-RLC will fit behind your HVAC controls.

No...Sonic didn't send the wrong one-it's not a direct fit. I ordered the same part after asking on another forum and didn't find out until a month later when I got around to doing the installation that it wouldn't easily work. You can use it but you have to shave off the bottom part of the harness so the two pieces will slide together.
