Has anyone ever had the DSC/TSC light come on? This light comes on and off at times and my Speed6 only has 8500 miles. I took it to the dealer when the light was on and of course when I got there the light goes off. They did a scan and told me that no codes was available to tell them what was causing the light to turn on. I was just curious if any other Speed6 owners came across this same problem.

The only time I notice it comes on is when I start the engine for the first time of the day. Sometimes I'll be lucky and it won't even come on. I'll drive it to where ever I need to go, park & shut off the engine. And then the next time I crank it up, the light doesn't come on. I'm thinking the sensor maybe loose or something.
The light should come on on start up.... it's basically a "check list" for the car to make sure and show you that the light and the system has turned on and is working.... have you tried turning off and then turning on the DSC button for it?
Unless it comes on when you're sitting at the traffic light or driving 30 mph down a straight road, you have nothing to worry about, and it is SUPPOSED to come on if you take a corner too hard, too fast... it comes on to show you the stability/traction control is working
but as for starting it up, that's normal.... it's not supposed to come on again unless you take a right turn at like 40 mph..... and it should come on for a few seconds and then turn off every time you start the car.

Well that's the problem. All I do is pull out of the garage with no turns and it turns on for a lengthy amount of time. I get to my destination (15 miles away) and the light is still on. Dealership told me not to shut off the car next time and drive straight to the dealership. So I'm hoping that it comes back on sometime soon while the warranty is still in effect.
ok so it STAYS on when you turn the car on and drive off huh? yeah that's not normal, also make sure you go with someone or bring a digital camera to record video for proof to the dealer.... but bring someone because if you leave your car running outside anywhere you want a passenger in there so no one steals it

my DSC/TCS light came on when my differential broke loose from the car (boom01), but only for like 5 minutes, until i put the car in reverse, and it went off and hasn't come back. then it went off, and apparently didn't notice that the AWD was operating improperly.

We'll the light came on again and straight I went to the dealer. I had the service rep and the technician come out to verify that the light was on before I shut down the engine. Now for sure they don't think I'm B.S. For the meantime, they gave me a CX7 as a rental. So now it's just a waiting game to see if they could figure out what is wrong.

man, at least they gave you that!!! My rental cars have been PT cruisers... i swear that thing is slower than the old geo metro I used to drive!!!
lol i have a friend that drove a PT cruiser in college, we all made fun of him so much that he went out and bought an STi just to shut us up. lol
