Dropped the MS3

So today was a very long long day. I installed the Eibach Sportlines for the 2007 MZ3. So they are not for the 2010 MS3. The spring rate is softer and they fit fine, but my goodness, the drop is amazing!!!

I've yet to drive it, and I dont have pics cause its night time.

The front springs were an amazing pain in the ASS!!! (eek2) And there were about ten 8 year olds messing with my tools and losing them in the grass. At one point a kid pulled apart the top hat assembly and I spent an hour looking for all the bearings inside of it. UGH! (dark) To continue, one wheel took some pavement to the face and is pretty messed up, so I guess I will have to sand them all down and get them powder coated. YAY! The springs havent settled yet. But I will get picks up tomorrow after I was her and show you how amazing she looks. Be kind though, I have tinted her yet....

The ride is way better. I think based on the weight of the car on the softer springs has forced them to compress more than usual which has made them stiffer. I know that I am riding on mostly strut and that the OEM struts will be useless in 20k miles. But its worth it now cause Im broke and I wanna be nice and low. Stay tuned for pics once they settle. Should get another .25 inch out of the springs.

how much in measurement is the drop? i've shopping for some springs to drop my 2007 MZ3 hatchback.

I mean, I didnt measure it. But I would say over 2". But mind you the 2010 MS3 is a bit heavier than the 2006 MZ3 which the springs were made for.

ride quality sucks ballz. But it looks good. I have sacrificed a comfortable ride for looks for the past four years with my Honda. Saving up for BC coils so I can adjust the dampening. i would love to go up to a 19" wheel, drop it another inch and see what hella flush feels like.
