Dropped my car off at dealer tonight/ Cold clutch chatter

do any of you that are experiencing this and taking it to the dealer have any mods? I dont want to get harrassed about my mods causing the problems. I am not going to take off my CAI, My header or any other parts just to get a clutch done. Also has anyone had the clutch replaced by an aftermarket clutch instead of a OE clutch? I thought i had read somewhere that somebody took theirs in for this problem and the dealer was willing to install a ACT clutch and a indigo flywheel i think? Maybe im wrong?

I did not ask about a different clutch, but I did ask the service manager...."If I had installed a short shifter a few months ago, would you guys be doing all this under warranty?" He said, NO.

jjac, according to my guy here, it was fixed by 03 and only a few of the 02s' had this prob. Mine was bad and would shutter a little bit for about 5 miles, till the tranny warmed up. Still can't believe they are going to fix my hood though. All the horror stories I have heard about Mazda warranty....nothing but good for me so far............Knocks on a big ass piece of wood
