Most people who install the kit say that their camber stays in spec. Mine however did not, I'll be purchasing a front and rear kit as soon as they are available.

ok thanks man..........also do you think that it gave you enough drop.......like would you have rather waited until the sportlines come out

I don't think any more drop is necessary, the pro-kit is about as low as I will ever go.

Front camber is fine but rear camber will hit about -3.

Sounds like you are setting this in stone. (uhm)

Mine was within spec with a -2* in the rear.
Have you checked out the Focus camber bolts? And I wonder if the extra 50lbs in the 5 door could be helping with that rear camber too.
One thing and this is just like the Focus or any other car, they most likely will all be different.

I ended up with -1.8 front left, -1.4 front right, -2.9 rear left, and -2.7 rear right. All but the front right are out of spec, the front right is borderline. Someone needs to release a camber kit soon. My subs and amp rack probably have something to do with the extreme negative camber in the back(the back was low even before the prokit).

Nope. That's why I said about -3. There won't be much variation between vehicles, though. Keep in mind that you have different springs than us, so your numbers will be different.

Sounds like ssinstallers ended up almost exactly where mine were.

would lowering your car using a spring kit also lower the amount of weight the car is capable of carrying safely without bottoming out? I have the habit of packing the car to the roof, and on my drive back from Winnipeg, the back was sitting noticeably lower when sitting still, though the car did not bottom out once despite some fairly good bumps.

According to Eibach, their springs do not change the load capacity of your vehicle.

how do you go about measuring camber?

The official way is to take it in for an alignment.

The unofficial way to get a quick check is to make sure the car is absolutely level (side to side and front to back) and use something like this:

Ive got eibach pros on my car. I love the ride and its a nice drop not too low but low enough to look good. My camber was a okay. But I went for an alignment right after I dropped it.

Really? (scratch)
What are the numbers on your rear camber?

*edit* nevermind... I just noticed you have a Protege, not a 3. Mac struts won't go crazy negative like multi-link.

What are the camber specs for the Mz3 Sedan with stock 17 inch wheels? (GFX model in Canada). I put Progress Springs (1.3" drop all round -- looks like it was supposed to look that way) and Sway bar in last week, and go in for an alignment next week.
