Driver seat is haunted!!

While driving our '08 CX-9 GT the power seat will move on its own. It will sometimes move just a little then the next time it will pin you against the sterring wheel.
Tonight it pushed me up so far my knee hit the button to open the rear door. This is a serious safety problem. Has this happened to anyone else? I don't know where to start to look for the problem?

If I recall correctly, there was a recall. Did you buy it used?
Check with your dealer. They should know about it and fix it w/o cost to you.

Yes, there was a recall on it. Apparently the wires that pass under the seat get chaffed over the years and shorts out, causing the seat to move! This can be VERY dangerous. If you take it in, they should fix it for free, and secure the wires so it doesn't happen again.

What year is this recall? My wife claims that the seat moves in our 2010 base model, but I always told her she's hitting the buttons to move the seat with her purse. We don't have seat memory.
