Anyone have any pics or know where i can get a hold of drilled rotors? Also whats a cool color to paint the calibers for a yellow mp3.

i have a set of brembo cross drilled rotors. i have all four but right now i only have the front on. i took the back off to improve the brake bias. i got mine off ebay. the seller's name is raymond and i think the company is option auto. they are based in canada somewhere. also, try SR Motorsports, they have drilled and sloted rotors. if not there, try advanced imports, the link is on this forum's homepage. good luck.

Haha....naturally as with most people....what's the price you paid for the brembo cross-drilled rotors?

really ??? Damn......I was gonna buy it........But I though it was only for 2..............I am buying for sure now.....the one on ebay right ?? I saw the auction...just wondering if it the same one as yours..........
would you happen to have pictures of your rotors ?? coz on ebay he said the rotors might not look the same as picture shown

check my www i have pics of a close up of one wheel. you can see it behind my rotas. the install was a breeze too. i would recomend these rotors for sure

Jsgolfer...

What ever became of that warped rotor problem you said you had? Was it from the Brembo's that you got or what? Last I heard is that you were going to put the stock ones back on, and find out whats up...Now your recommending the rotors to someone else, was it something else causing that loud noise?

Still curious because those rotors look bad ass...

 Want to comment on that jsgolfer ?? I already contact the seller on email.......

had the rotors checked and they were fine. just were not broke in yet. the mechanics all said that i need to get them really hot a couple times and they would stop making any noise. sorry i forgot to tell everyone that. peace

oo...okay...good to hear......still deciding if I should buy them or not.........
I was wondering......are they larger than the stock ones ?? if so....By how much ?

Hey jsgolfer.......So right now you only have the 2 front ?? I am stupid.....I dont get what does brake bias mean.......sorry....:p
mind tell me what it means ??

yes i only have the two on the front. brake bias is the term we use to describe the process by which the front brakes do more work than the back. simple physics really. because of this fact, the front heat up quicker. to make the front and back heat up equally or atleast closer to equally, i have crossdrilled on the front and the stockers in the back. this allows the front which get hot quick to cool better while the stockers let the back retain some heat and operate more like the front. i hope that explains it. i am in no way an expert so you may want to ask someone else for more help. and also, they are the same size. you cannot put bigger rotors on our cars without changing out calipers and brackets and possibly even rims. peace. o ya, if you guys really want bad ass brakes and you have lots of dough, check out this

this is what i want to do if i ever get the cash. c-ya

Thanks for the info jsgolfer........

ah......the whole brake system........They ARE expensive.....my friend has them on his Accord.......cost him 4000$ CAN to get it....But it loooooks soooooooooo nice...........

I will do a big brake kit before I add too much speed. What good id going super fast if you can't stop!

I like the Stoptech Big Brake Kit

I think the price is a little high right now, but that should all change in a little while when more parts are manufactured and there is something called competition between the after market companies. :D

Just know those Brembo rotors (at least the one's I've seen on eBay) are $210, plus $45 shipping.

Not that $255 is a bad deal for a set of cross-drilled rotors. Just a heads up.

I don't think there are any auctions for the right now, though.

Yeah $1800 just for the front brakes seems a little steep to me. I'm sure it'd look pretty sweet to have on tho!

I agree, but the topic of upgraded brakes has been discussed many many times. And the final (and correct) conclusion is that a "big brake kit" is a HUGE waste of money.

The StopTech kit will not decrease your stopping distance. The biggest factor is TIRES. If your stock brakes can lock up the tires, they are sufficiently powerful for the car, end of story. So unless your tires can take advantage of the extra stopping power, a big brake "upgrade" is all for show.

If you want better feel, spend a hundred bucks or so and get stainless braided lines. Those CAN help, only by giving you better pedal feel and more accurate modulation on a non-ABS car.

Unless you are running super-sticky racing slicks, a brake "upgrade" will do nothing but empty your wallet.
