I use dreamweaver a lot.. and photoshop too. I have a few sites that I have made

http://www.clauretano.com

http://www.neonettechnologies.com

http://www.biblio.org/thomaston - the public library in my hometown that I work @.

If you have any specific questions tell them to me and I'll see what I can do. It's 10:06 now and I'll come back on and check from 11:00-13:17 (I'm at school)

im still trying to get the copy from my freind who is slacking lol but i usually learn it by my self....i hope i get it

yes CSS is a god. making templates is nice too. and about how long it took to learn dreamweaver... took like a week or so. I'd reccommend this book for MX:

https://www.amazon.com (commissions earned)

and for MX 2004 this book:

https://www.amazon.com (commissions earned)

at school I used the first book as a reference guide while I was using it (since I'm used to using frontpage gross)

a guy at work gave me a 1200 page dreamweaver reference guide, yall think that will help? or have you all seen it

i hope it would have some info in there;)

1 link www.w3schools.com on the left learn html

then u can learn css after it.

I do htis for a living... I of course work with Database too.

man **** the books on dreamweaver learn HTML so u can learn to use front page and all those different software too.

what hosting service do you all use and are any of those sites that help you design your site and host it worth anything?

Definitely learn/use CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) and build your sites in tables. Layers are MUCH easier, but arent widely used yet in browsers. This could potentially create browser issues.

Photoshop is a god when it comes to comp'ing up your design and slicing it up for the tables. Please dont use PS's built in slicer. Use guides to set your own.

Just run down to a bookstore and pick up a Dreamweaver MX/MX 2004 book (the Dummies books are excellent) and go at it.

Read the manual. It helps to learn the short cuts. :) What do you need help with? Actual functions or design work?

I design in photoshop and imageready, then edit in dreamweaver.
