yeah I use dreamweave to make my site also .
www.protosportracing.com I like it and I have been using it for about 2 years. It took me a while to get used to it though..
As far as learning CSS.. I really don't think you need to learn CSS unless you really want to implement it and that can get confusing.
I basically keep all my files in folders and use one background design for a few pages or just make a background for a specific page and then add the info.
You can use the layer button if you want to manipulate the page or a picture and info to show up where you want it. I did that with the 323 page here,
http://protosportracing.com/the323.htm
I also purcahsed the book for dreamweaver MX...
you can download mx if you have imesh or kazaa..
Just practice and take your time using it. You can't expect to know everything in a week. Reading the book did help me with a few things on my site.
If you really want an easy web development program, you can try out frontpage 2000..
That is also a great program that is very user friendly.
I wish I had the skills that some of these web designers had, I tend to have ideas for my site, but just can't get them on the out my brain and on the computer.
good luck and if you need any photoshops or whatever, just holla at me.
