............... Not kidding you should put some of your stories together and contact some screen writers and try to sell that (and other stories) a lot of movies come from peoples dreams.

Do you ever dream?
I know I do.

I honestly remember about 10% of all the dreams I've ever had.

Last night- I was a woman and some guy was trying to ask me out. Them The vice president (who was 8' tall) came to my rescue.
He went to whisper something in my ear (because I was a spy...) but the Secret Service intercepted me.
And we were in a bank and someone yells out " he's got a gun" but I was a she??????

Then I saw Freddy Kruger and we had coffee. I wasn't scared but as a kid I was terrified. He cried on my shoulder and I told him everything was going to be OK!

Don't you think it's weird when there are people in your dreams whom you've never met in reality?....could they be people you pass by on the street and don't consciously recognize, but somehow the mind captures their image and incorporates them into the dream?

they say ur dreams are things on your subconscious mind so if you dont consciously recognize them maybe you subconsciously recognize them

I dream pretty often and I hate it. Whenever I have a dream I wake up edgy and extremely tired. A lot of the dreams that I have reflect stuff that happens in the future which freeks the **** out of me. Twice in my life I had dreams in which I was somewhere that I never saw in my life and than 2 years later in both cases I found myself in that exact place seeing the exact things as in the dreams. Both places were foreign countries. Left me feeling freaked out for days each time

I had a pretty bizzare one last night....

I was in my friend evan's driveway and they were flipping an old accord for some reason, while people were in it.. The neighbors kicked us out of the neighborhood, and then I was wandering around this huge prep school looking for food, beacuse apparently there was free food. My cell phone kept ringing beacuse one of my coworkers had a crush on one of my female friends, and wanted to get her stoned for some reason. So I get into this huge basketball gym kinda place, and I run into my ex's ex-boyfriend.. He says "so has she slept with anyone better than you yet? I'm sure she has." So I put down a plate of food and start kicking the crap outta him. The principal of the school stops the fight and suggests we solve our problems via a poetry battle. I say "Fcuk you, fcuk him, fcuk you all, there's a haiku for you." and leave the gym. I'm walking out of the gym and I hear people applauding me. Then I woke up.

screwed up enough for you?

ummm... yup!

I had a dream last night I forgot how to drive. I was running red lights without noticing, and I couldn't focus on anything that was happening around me. I was kinda freaked out, and I kept trying to pay attention, then I would whiz by something again in a near-miss out of sheer luck.

I have dreams about crashing alot. In another dream my dad was giving me directions from the passenger seat, and he told me to turn down a one-way road which I didn't notice was one way till it was too late and I ended up in a head-on collision.

Really surreal stuff rarely happens in my dreams though, like me being a woman and having the president talk to me and all that. It just doesn't happen. They are usually pretty boring dreams.

Like the other day my dream was just about getting up and trying to find some clean clothes and getting to work on time. (homework) What the ****, I don't need dreams for this crap.

That's why I've never done any drugs, smoked cigs, or drank,,,, I just dream or think crazy thoughts to put me in another more surreal or enlightened place.

Being chased or almost crashing usually means that you are on a course of self-destruction or self-discovery. If you are being chased by someone, then the person chasing you is often a representation of yourself. You may be running away from responsibility, your job that causes you stress, it could be a fear, wanting to ask someone out but being too shy to ever ask her, etc. All these things require you to stop, turn around and face your fears or problems head on BEFORE there's a collision. For us, we surround our lives with cars. Just about everyone on here will have a car dream or something related to it. It depends on how you look at your car. Does it give you a sense of comfort, your safety zone, freedom on a drive to nowhere but at least you're alone.. is it your office, your "other" girlfriend? lol Things like that. So must of us will probably end up having a dream of driving it.

My problem was having a dream about me losing my car whenever I parked it in my dream. I'd park it, walk away, come back and it's GONE! I hate that. If I didnt find it, then it was replaced by another car that I knew wasnt mine and I didnt want it. Or I'd come back to a stripped car on blocks or to an empty parking space. It was funny and cruel at the same time. lol But after I found out what my problem and fears were and solved them in my waking world, then I didnt have any more dreams like that.

Maybe nervousness, tension, regarding the pregnancy. Also once you're pregnant you really don't have much control over the natural process that's occuring inside you, so maybe the brake mashing and flying through red lights served as some sort of analogy to that.

I never said anyhing about being chased, it's more like losing control, not having any control over my car. Car=life, I guess that makes it kinda self explanatory.

When you're driving in your dreams, especially during a time in your life that deals with change, it just means transition. If you cant stop and you feel like you're trying to, it's because you may feel like you're losing control over a situation but trying to do what you can at the time. Pregnancy leaves alot of uncertainties and it's easy to find yourself overwhelmed. So that might have been what you were feeling at the time. After the pregnancy, alot of uncertainties and anxieties are overwith and its replaced with happiness, relief and security. And then of course, you wont have the same dream anymore.

thanks romecandleboy and lara i had to get hubby and brother to drive me around for four monthsbecause i was scared to drive.

I have very odd dreams, I dont dream that often but when I do they are crazy. But there is one dream that I always have. Most of my normal dreams are in black and white, but this one is always in very vivid colors. I always dream about The Fox and the Hound, you know the childrens story. Since I have been like 6-7 , I have always had this dream. But recently as I have gotten a little older, weird s*** starts to happen. The last time the Fox decided he was sick of being chased, so he killed th hound. Sometimes they are darker, and the rabbit is gigantic. But it is still all like a cartoon running in my head. To think about it a lot of dreams have to do with cartoons. I had one last month, where the new bugs bunny ,and the old got in a fight. That new one really is to extreme.

BUt IDK, the best dreams that I can cognitivly remember are always the fox in hound. Maybe someday it will make sense, oh and there is always a big field of dandilions as well.

Weird
