Drawing......

If any of you guys doodle things that would make a good tatoo I'm looking for something original. first one a few years ago was off the wall, literally. I'd pay you for the design.

What type of original work, figures, portraits, etc? Color? I am rusty but that is what you are going to be asked.

Yeah I didn't want to go into it if nobody gave a s*** but since you brought it up here are the specs that I'd lay out.

currently have an armband on my right arm. pretty generic pattern and symbol but I still like it after 7 years.

I'd like something for my shoulder that looks like it's supposed to go there. I'm all about the designs that make the body a piece of art instead of the design itself being the focus like some character or words. Symbols are ok but it can't be played out until errbody sees mine and goes out and gets one then that's ok.

So something that would fit on the shoulder and then maybe have some branch off that I could link into my arm and another towards the shoulder blade as an incentive to work that way later.

2 colors max. I like blue or red but not both.

I'd have to see something to get an idea which way to head with it.

is your arm band more tribal or calligraphy? Wide bands or thin?

tribal. i'm a pretty skinny dude so I'd say the bands are thin. I'd snap a pic but my camera is out of commision for a few days.

the band is similar to this only not nearly as wide. bout 2" I'd say.

Aw damn. It's been forever since I drew anything by hand... I do it all digital now.

Here's some older stuff I had on my PC... I even tossed in a still life from my first college drawing class.

I have one too. I've been asked many times "have any tats?" I respond with "I'll give you one guess as to what it is and where it is". :-/

It is the altezza of the tatoo world. sans the bolts and removal option.

Do you hang out at lake havasu and wakeboard... lol

I'm also in a frat and I wear nothing but polo shirts (usually light colors like pink or yellow) with the collar popped up, aviators, baggy/worn cargo shorts, and flip flops. Sometimes I mix it up with a slightly crooked AE hat that's torn.

thanks.

man im glad i never took any art classes. id die if i had to draw still life so boring.

shrug... .gotta start somewhere.

This is basically all review for me so it makes it kinda boring sometimes. Same with any art classes though. It definitely bothers me that "college level" is stuff I was doing at age 14-18. :-/ I took ART 117 a couple terms ago and we mixed paint, made colors and learned/made color wheels. I think I first did that in grade school. That's also taught in Jr/high school too. It also cost me a couple hundred for the class and another 100+ on supplies. It's all for the greater good though, right? I mean a piece of paper that says you did it. yak yak yak yak
