Anyone here like to doodle?

I use to draw all the time back in high school... I was ok I'd say, but I haven't drawn since then (I graduated in 00). For the Multimedia program I'm in I'm required to take a lot of art classes as electives. I'm in a drawing class now. It's taken a while to get back up to speed with what I use to be able to do, but I'm slowing getting there.

Here's a few quick sketches I've done during class. Most only have about 30 mins or less into them. I'd like to spend more time on one piece, but the teacher wants us to learn to work faster. I'd like to be able to work faster and develop more of my own style. I tend to try and make things look to realistic.

gotta love still lifes of naked mannequin dudes (I guess that other one is a chick), swords, random bottles, and plants We had the option of going outside last night so I jumped on that and did the rock table.

Anyone else got anything to 'share'.....?

question about the bottom most drawing in the top picture. Did the guys butt really look saggy like that.. yuck

I would have to say "yuck" about any dudes ass really.... Yes, it looked like that.

It wasn't a real person though.

here's my lastest drawing...watching my nephew play in little league inspired this.

Quality of the image sucks due to really large file size.

That bottom one where the dude is sitting there with his head on his arms is awesome. It's like the thinker only that one is more like despair.

I wrote a ballet for electronic music last year that never debued. We are going to give it one more shot this summer. The atlanta ballet has donated their studios for us to work in which was huge.

edit: sorry this isn't a doodle but I was thinking art when I read this post.

Wow that's a lot of line..... That's pretty cool. How big is the actual piece?

24x36...I have started adding color, I will try and post it when it is finished.

My drawings will improve if I let my soul patch grow out a bit, right?

I figured just taking a pic would be the easiest way.... It looks alright quality wise I think.

And for the ladies

The butterflies were drawn for tats so the colors couldn't be blended as much. Our ink shops have to have everything simplified for custom work. Number one reason why I don't have any.

here are a couple I had to do last semester for my drawing 101 class... the first is a stippling/matting project and the second is kinda hard to see but it was just supposed to be a contour line drawing.
