i'm only running CAI and my best time is:

R/T = .566
1/8 = 9.412 @ 78.07mph
1000 = 12.153
1/4 = 14.473 @ 97.30mph


say what?!?!?!?

worst time was 18.272 coz for a sec i thought i broke my lsd...how sadd
next best time is 15.170 @91.69mph
then 14.796 @95.26mph
then 14.613@95.98mph
and last 14.473@97.30

someone add my time please

there's definetly something wrong with my car....
 
i mean your car ran great at track i wish i couldv'e run those times when all i had was an intake. i'm just a little worried about how much boost your running, you might of broke your actuator spring i'm not sure though. maybe your msp is a beast from the factory.

i'm really happy with how my car ran, i was hoping for under 15 before i ran and my first run was a 14.7@98.58mph. with some fine tuning of my afc i will be in the 13's.

and that "beast fromj the dealer", we actually talked about it with jomo, i bought the car used...and it came with an aftermarket clutch...which leads to maybe a broken LSD that was replaced (quife??? lol) i wish!!
and a built motor by the previous owner who car tired of this car and traded in for a srt-4...

oh god, can i dream or what!!!

anyway to know if i have a revised version of the LSD wihtout opening the tranny?

But yeah, both trap and time should be lower. You ever dynoed the car? It should be trapping higher. Trap is a reflection of horsepower.

not great at all, it was a 2.5 60 ft.
i should be in the 13s but i'm not very good at launching. if i had hooked it in 1st and 2nd i think it wouldv'e been a different story
 
at the risk of sounding like a total ass.. how come a bubble hatch with a full interior can run 10.2 and we cant? i would think maybe a mam built block n thumper kit set at 30psi tuned with some big ass 880cc injectors would do it. the civic like i said has a full leather interior with a t3 at 27psi and no lsd on a ls vtec. of course he is tuned and all but still. it just seems we could hit tens with money and tuning.
 
I went to the track 2 fridays ago all stock and the best time i got was a 15.5 granted i only got 3 passes in, but i went this past friday and ran a 14.79. I gutted my cats and ran straight off the midpipe and i got some 16in slipstreams. i will post my slip up when i get home.
 
i dono ... civic hatch probably weights alot less + i think the vtec helps alot in this case. i saw a guy at a local track once that said he gained about 100hp just by changing to a vtec head. civic hatch with like 30+psi boost. he runs mid 10s ... i guess vtec helps alot at 30psi

i don't think it's hard to do it on a track but the thing is that all of us drive our cars every day. you can build a car to last 10sec on a track with high boost but the problem is to make it reliable for every day use. + lets face it, honda engines/transmissions are better than mazdas lol
