I wanna hook. Will it break?

Also what are the smallest wheels that will fit over the brakes on the front?

You will want to brace the car with at least a RMM before you try this. 16 " standard Mazda steelies go right over the Speed brakes but may not be wide enough for you.

Old Ford Probe (first gen) wheels look to be direct fit. I think 16" 5 hole Mustang wheels have the same pattern but, I don't know if the offset'll work out, as they were for RWD.

I ordered a SURE motorsports RMM Sunday. Is anyone on here running DRs with a stock drivetrain safely?

That's what i have

How's the wheel hop with the DRs? Will my motor mount get it under control? It's scary enough wheel hopping on street tires.

I bought them 2 month ago and i'm selling them atm since my car is at the dealer for a complete tranny change.

Clutch piece's of the LSD everywhere in the tranny + some broken gear teeth and synchro are all worn pretty bad.

I'm done racing the speed3.

Going for a 500whp civic next year.

You won't have wheel hop with DR since the tire is made to absorb the shock from the launch.

I probably damage my transmission with the Toyo RA1 i was using last year

Ugh... I didn't want to hear that. I wanted to believe that Mazda put a stout gearbox behind this thing.

Im sure the engineers did exactly what they needed to do to get the vehicle to work as it was intended. Not everyone designs a car to be "improved" upon by the average consumer

The transmission in the speed3 is pretty strong, the problem was 'me' driving the car at the drag strip like i stole it :)
