I bought Travelinjunkie's CD Changer and 4 factory speakers from his eBay auction. He's not the greatest communicator (took several emails from me for him to fax me a shipping receipt--no tracking number on USPS Priority Mail), but I really have no complaints about him as a seller. The package took forever to get to me--but it wasn't his fault, just the Postal Service. It was shipped the same day I sent him the PayPal (5/1)--it didn't even get to Minneapolis until 5/10 (a Saturday) and I had it in my hands the following Monday, 5/12.
The product was exactly as described, it was shipped exactly when he said it would be, he packed everything up really well, and he even UNDERcharged me for shipping (asked me for around $10, the postage label was around $16 and he didn't complain to me or ask for more).
I stayed out of this thread until now because a) it was getting so heated I didn't want to be a part of it; and b) because I felt bad for Alex and didn't want to contradict him in the thread.
I decided to post now because Ryan has been really cool through all of this and I felt it was unfair he was taking so many direct hits all of a sudden--he's a good guy, he looks out for others on this forum and his website REALLY helped me out with my installation.
To summarize:
1) Quit fighting!
2) I had a good experience with Travelinjunkie
3) I feel
really bad about Alex' situation and hope that he does receive either the changer or the refund--just because I had a good experience doesn't mean he will...I could've just been the lucky one
4) Quit picking on Ryan--he's one of the good guys around here.
That is all...
