I brought home a rat snake from school one day. They told me to go to the store and buy it "pinkies". I was like.... ooooookkkkkk. Went to the store and the clerk showed me baby rats. I was like ACK!!!!! "I CAN'T FEED THOSE TO IT!!!!!" After that, the snake went to the school as a pet. My friend bashes their lil heads on the side of the cage so they'd die without pain... but sometimes he doesn't quite hit it hard enough. I wonder if it's possible for pinkies to end up wtih concusions....poor things.

both of them are muts. marley's mostly black lab with a bit of shar-pei, so he's the size of a shar-pei, but looks like he's all lab. he looks like a permapuppy black lab. and they get plenty of excercise, so no overweight dogs here!

i have a beagle and i kept two of her puppies and had them for about 7 months then this asshole down the road killed the little male, when i went to his house he wasnt home, then when i went back he wouldnt come to the door, i've calmed down now, this all happened awhile back but im still waiting for the ****** to give me a reason to beat his ass.
some people just have no heart.

5 1/2 year old pure bread akita. totally dominant, alpha b****. she'll kill all your dogs then rip their heads off, throw a strap-on on, and skull **** them.

Kidding or not that was a really stupid thing to post. Nice dog, Dumb ass owner. That is the kind of mentality that gives a good dog like the Akita a bad rap. Just like the punks with the pit bulls. s*** for brains!

umm. you know what? i've had my girl for almost 6 years and love her to death. and i'm also a very responsible akita owner (i.e. never off leash, etc.). furthermore, i've been known to evangelize the breed whenever i can. however, i know what they're (more specifically- her) are capable of after seeing first hand many, many times.

but why am i justifying this to you? i think you need to go drink a warm cup of shut the **** up.

edit- and for the record, mr. knowitall, she's not a "nice dog". never has been. she's good with my family & me, but not with other animals. that goes for the breed in general. but i guess you would know that already, yeah? unless all you've ever done is pet the ones at the dog shows. go lay your judgement on someone else.

i agree. pits and rots also make me nerous just because of their predatory instinct. you always hear stories and family pits and rote snapping and attacking a family member. for this reason i will never own either one.

I've got a 3 year old rott at the house and a 2 year old red nosed pitbull along with a choco lab random mix dog, no problems at all they get along great
and a cat too!

I do know that. That is why people need to be responcable with them. I have seen many Akitas. 20 yrs. ago I almost started out showing them but decided it would be too much to have 3 or 4 of them. Didn't want to seperate them in a fight. My 25 lb. Shibas are almost as bad. Just not as big. Many people that show Shibas also have, or had Akitas. They are great dogs as long as you understand and respect their temperment.
I only have a problem with your statement, not the dog.

that's fine. go judge your dogs, not me. you might want to think about re-wording your statements a bit & not going on the attack. i, too, know a fair ammount about shibas/akitas/pyrs just from spending a *shitload* of time with the breeder & people that own them.

i still agree with roy, though. you do seem like a b****. maybe you should just go to craigslist's pet forums with all the other judgemental douchebags
