Dog-proofing my MS3?

I have an 85 lb long haired German Shepherd that pesters me for car rides all the time. I do the old bed sheet over the back seat. It's ghetto but works. She's calm so she just sits with her head out the window spraying slobber all over the back end of the car.

That's more than 2/3 of my own weight. I wouldn't want him/her sitting on my lap. >_<

I should try the doggy seatbelt someone posted earlier.

I say whatever works Swampass. Ghetto or not. I love dogs but can't stand dog hair anywhere. (I think on a bed is the worst, followed by your car and on furniture.) I have a few friends with dogs and I get a little upset just by the secondary shedding they do when they ride in my car. You think they would get upset if I made them sit on a sheet?

;-)

I'm losing the battle on dog hair in my apartment. I have a rough border collie (lassie). I'll post some pics later.

I'm hoping the hammock protects my seats a bit, and i can shake it out/vacuum it to battle some of the dog hair.

For those of you who load the dog through the hatch. Do you guys have the bumper guards? I whould hate it if Fido scratch my paint.

as for loading the dog, mine is only ~60lbs for now so i just pick him up and put him in rather than take any chances on scratches (or put those ugly bumper covers on)
