So i had my wastegate actuator replaced because the old one was messed up again. After the dealership put it in and i test drove it it didnt feel right. From a start it felt normal then the turbo would kick in but the a second after it kicks in it doesnt wanna pull anymore. It feels so much slower and its getting on my nerves. cars that i used to keep up with i cant cuz it wont pull in high rpm's like the turbo doesnt exist anymore at high rpm's. This is the second time ive had the actuator replaced due to it breaking. After it was replaced the first time it felt like it was now i just figured it need time to break in well it did after only a week so this one did the same and i hoped it would pass to but its been almost a month and still runs slow. I dont know whats wrong with it. I have a boost gauge and it says im running a constant boost throghout the entire gear so i have no clue what it could be. can yall help me out any ideas what it could be?
thanks

lol before i replaced my wga i was boosting 15 psi and it would loose traction on a hot day in the summer in first gear (before i got a boost gauge). when i replaced it i went down to like 8psi and felt slow but hey who cares because the motor is safe with the new wga. hope this makes sence

Yup..If your wastegat was bad..yu were boosting higher than normal..
That explains the "SLOW" feeling you have now at normal boost.
If you have a gauge and it's reading between 6-8 PSI..you are boosting the correct PSI.

overboosting is not always a problem with a WGA cuz I have a boost gauge and my WGA went bad and it was really hard for me to go into boost cuz the spring stayed open instead of staying closed you know what I mean
