Does your sport auto shift weird in 1st to 2nd?

Sometimes when I shift to 2nd there's a delay before it shifts it will reach 4K rpm before it shifts. Am I doing something wrong? And is it bad to hit 4K during break in period?

I have 800 mi on my car. There is always a slight hesitation between changes when using +/- manual shift. Sometimes when I am under harder acceleration the hesitation is a little longer.

I would keep the rev's under 3000 rpm during break-in. Yes, there is a delay in shifitng from 1st to 2nd. I do one of two things:
(1) Let off on the gas at around 2500 to 3000 rpm or (2) shift about a second after I step on the gas (anticipating the delay of the shift), it's basically moving the shifter early so that you'll get the actual shift when you want it to. So far so good, tranny hasn't detonated yet (knocks on wood).

Why not just get the 5sp?

Then you should teach her, if the pro5 was unavailbe and there
was an emergency. she has to drive the other cars, What is she
going to do, not drive. I don't think so. But those are my
thoughts.
