Does the Basic CX-9 stereo stream from Bluetooth?

I just bought a 2011 CX-9 last night and was setting up my phone today. It is an iPhone 4 with the latest OS. Paired just fine with the CX-9, I can make and receive calls. Cannot get any streaming audio though. This is a stock CX-9 Touring without the touch screen on the radio.

I can get sound through the aux cable but not streaming. I called the salesman and he said it should be able to stream.

Any thoughts?

Please see AD2P on Non NAV system. Unfortunately, the Type A radio does not support BT Streaming.

This is a stock CX-9 Touring without the touch screen on the radio.

Do you have the Bose radio package? Mine is non-nav (aka no touchscreen), but with the upgraded Bose radio. My wife's iPhone can stream audio just fine. However, i prefer the cable - Bluetooth doesn't have the bandwidth necessary to stream music. The cable sounds better.
