Does Radar Detecter really work??

That's Why you need the Escort Passport 8500, RMR(Rocky-mountain-radar) C-302, and the Phantom II laser Jammer. On another topic of different thread i posted something about my Phantom II Laser Jammer. The Speed thing's that are on the side of the Highway, determine how fast you are going and there was one on the side of the Freeway so i went, to go check it out. "To make a long story short", I did this Twice. The first time i thought my radar was broken but my speed's were at a mere 70-73mph and the thing read 65mph, Went back again and it said i was doing 68 or something when i was going about 75mph. Both the laser and jammer went off so i figured, my Jammer was telling it the wrong speed. But it doesn't mean it'll work on real Radar's that the Highway patrol's use. Brand new i paid like $250 or so.

Just to clarify the 8500 can not jam lazer. YOu have to buy and attach teh escort ZR3 unit to it to do that.

Also it should be noted an officer can ticket you without even clocking you. They are accepted in legalities as being able to determin your speed on there own. The Radar just reinforces that.

This is why when you go to court adn the officer shows up you get off. The officer is the evidence against you not the radar reading.

Yup here in NY it's called the PACE method ... Just got yanked doing 90 in a 65 (in rush hour traffic) oh and illegal lane usage another 3 pts. There was no way I was doing 90 MPH in rush hour traffic ... you could not go more then 20 feet before stopping again. Haters.

Actually I shoulda, broke it down in paragraphs. I mean that you need all Three radar's In some circumstance's. Me i own all three, "I'm a Gadget guy with different toy's", I Now use the Escort Passport all the time. Mostly B/C It detect's from far away, and it let's me be aware every time. AS if you read my post when i was saying Laser Jamming, i meant As of my (PHANTOM II LASER Jammer). Yeah that one.LOL

It better for the Price of either 239 or 299, Got mine 2yrs ago at Cartoys.com for $225shipped. If your looking into getting a radar Dector with laser Jamming and all that other Gizmo, then look forward into the (RMR) Rocky-mountain-radar 430. You won't regret it.
