Does every CX9 with Asst Package have power liftgate ?

I am not sure but I heard that the initial run of CX9's with the asst package had no power liftgate ?

Is this true ?

From the way I understand it the assist package is the technology package and the power liftgate so if it didn't have the power liftgate then it would just be the technology package. I think that they didn't introduce the assist package until later in the year.

For the 2007 CX-9 Grand Touring:
1. Navigation Package: "limited early availability". They stopped offering this package. It included:
(a) DVD Navigation Aid
(b) Rear Parking Aid w/ Camera.
MSRP was $2,100.

2. GT Assist Package: Currently available. It includes:
(a) DVD Navigation Aid With Touch Screen and Voice Activation
(b) Rear Electronic Parking Aid With Camera
(c) Fully Automatic Power Liftgate
(d) Voice Activated Controls For Navigation
(e) MP3 Player
MSRP: $2,500.

Costs $400 more and worth every penny of it, IMHO.

It is true, I have one of those. Fully equipped with all goodies except the PLG.
