Does Anyone Make A SuperCharger For MP5

'Cause it's different. =) That, and the torque curve on a supercharged car is flatter than that of a turbocharged car, generally. I loved my brothers old supercharged MR2 Mk1. Both are up as options for me, but I'd prefer the supercharger, even if just to try something different.

I don't much care about peak horsepower; Give me nice, sustained power any day. *nods*

I still am considering the BEGI/FM turbo kit, though. =) That looks closest to what I want in a kit.

i see about being different, but on ours its just not feasable... a mr2 a bit different. i dont have lag and mine is smooth. kicks in way before a SC would, granted a SC is always technically kicked in, but the power band doesnt "hit" until much higher rpms.

but i would love to see someone go SC to see what it will do, i have seen a few dynos of our cars SCed i know of 4 SCed, but i dont know what they are or anything, and i will try to find the dynos, they werent great at all, most kicked in fully at 5500.

peace, and good luck to all you wanting SC, it will be cool to see.

Ok, I live less than 2 hours away. How long do you need my car?

A Vortech (centrifugal) blower is a turbo...Only on a belt instead of exhaust. Your torque will be peaky high up, not flat.

There have been kits for the fs motor though, just not specifically for the proteges. It might be possible to get one of those kits to work, as there is a guy on here running a turbo kit designed for the probe.
