I am getting pissed off to say the least at mazda service. I am sure we all have felt this pain, But I am going to replace the rear swaybar bushings myself I think, And was just wondering if anybody new a part number of GOOD bushings yet? I can order them at pep boys and autozone but I need the size of the bushing.

Please help if at all possible or send me in the direction where I can get help

not sure this will help but...

right now I have the MP3 rear sway bar retrofitted onto my ES sedan using stock bushing brackets and trimmed rubber bushings. It doesn't squeak and all but I would like a better solution. I have checked out some universal polyurethane bushings available from Energy Suspension and there seems to be one that is very similar in size with the stock rubber bushing. I am planning to call them and make an order for a pair this week.

I don't know if this information will help you, since I know the rubber bushings and the mounting brackets is totally different in the MP3 from the stock sedan. Just thought you 'd like to know which direction I'm going in in search of a solution.

good luck.

btw I measured the diameter of the rear sway bar, it IS 20mm exact, FWIW :)

Thank you very much, Please let me know if you get your part numbers for that bar/ I will call around as well as search the internet,

If anyone else can help please do,

:)

gettin my bushing replace this tues at my dlr in manhatten....but i dont think that is the real problem cause it sounds like in the strut it self...but ey there is a technical service bulliten out so go to ya dlr and tell them to research they s***!!!

I know but all my dealers suck ass around here.

Thats why I would rather fix myself and be done with it.

Old bushing part number I have written down here is:
Part# BN7H-28-1568

The new suspension bushing is part #BN7H-28-156C. If you do a SEARCH for bushing part number you will come up with more information.

I do have a slight problem with the bushing part number listed above. I had the front bushings replaced a while back and the part number for them were not the same.

My replacement part#BN7H-34-156

So take your pick... rear and front could be different, I don't know and haven't checked yet. I'm waiting for the winter to cross by so I can see if the squeaking will return or not.
