Cmon, it was a bad question, no way around it. There is no way to answer that VERY VERY GENERAL question ("Before IT breaks" CMON WTF?) without writing at least a 16 page response compiled from 2 years and over 100,000 posts. And for the record no one can say "This one thing is mechanically the MSPs weak point" because we have not had a trend of trannys dropping or axle failure or anything. There have been cases of stuff but the circumstances were different. Several of the blown motors were close to stock. Some were boosting high. The only thing you can say without a doubt is that we have lots of forum members that are good at flipping their cars.

To me it sounded more like "Hi I am a ricer that wants to tell my ricer friends that my car can be tuned for X amount of HP" What is X amount of HP?"

Sorry thats just how I see it. I have been reading these boards since August of 2003 trying to learn as much as possible about my car and FI in general. And I see it as lazy and uninformed to just ask a stupid question like that.
You want help? There are TONS and TONS of people here who can help you. But you gotta try to learn on your own. There is no cliffnotes version to this car or these boards.

i tell you what im not one to go telling people my car can do this and that. all i wanted to know is its limits now i have a little better idea. limits by the way help you in your tuning. you know so i can keep from getting to close and blowing up a brand new car. i dont know about you guys but i paid a lot of money for it and i didnt want to just piss the money in the wind by blowing it up. as for know ing stuff. i now how to build engines i just didnt know its limits. for those of you that were helpfull thanks.

I wouldn't do anything to modify the vehicle until you understand that you have to "pay to play" (not saying you don't). Other than that I don't think anybody has truley pushed the limits of this motor w proper supporting modifications.

yea my grammar sucks cause its a forum no need to end sentences with periods. ok maybe ill put one in. lol. anyway i appreciate the help from those that added real info thanks. i got some ideas im gonna do with the car, ill see how it works. you know for a car that supposedly had limited production i see them all the time now. i guess its cause once you really look for a certain car you tend to see it more often. sorry im babbling had no sleep.

i was just reading other posts earlier and everyone flames everyone here. whats the deal, is everybody mad cause they might know less than someone else. so they go acting like everyone doesnt know jack. anyway its totally off subject. just an observation about this forum. which must have more haters than other forums apparently. anyway, i got my ecu re-flashed by the dealer cause it started stumbling after they fixed my coolant lines. they must not care whats done to a car cause my work was under warranty and ive done quite a bit to my car. anyway, i made an s-pipe, intercooler(assembled end tanks), fabbed up a cold air box, installed and made a boost controller, and made a fuel cut defender. i guess thats not a lot of stuff but its a good start considering im constantly working on my 240.
