does anyone know how much the msp can handle in whp before it breaks?

The "Search" button would answer most if not all of your questions you have concerning this. But it really depends on what you have or want to do in terms of supporting mods.

Seeing as this is your first post, just try searching around, there's lots of information on that exact same question. Everyone will give you a different answer too. But anyways the first thing to go is usually a connecting rod
Well your rods will snap at precisley 243.5 WHP, while your Tranny will disinegrate at approximately 267 WHP. Expect total door lock failure at around 300WHP or 268 Lb/ft whichever comes first. Your blinker fluid however can be tricky, if aligned properly with your cathode inverter you can run up to 498 WHP, but I wouldn't suggest it.

i tell you what i did search and it just led me to a bunch of stupid threads that were useless much like what you guys just did. i have 3 cars all of which i built sometimes i went to forums to get a little more info, this one sucks, most of you guys are answering with stupidity if you have nothing smart to say dont say anything. .

i dont know what the max is on the internals but mine is doing a little above 230hp/230tq daily for sometime now...hope that helps
wow you guys are sad. the guy is asking for help and all you guys are doing is poking fun at him. Just remember there was a time when you knew nothing about that car, and saying search is pretty much admission that you don't know the answer.
Moving on... Your weak links are probably going to be the rods. It's not really known what the motor can handle yet on stock internals as no one has really pushed theres yet. 230 whp is quite possible as descreet has already done so.

slo...they do pretty well with mild tuning. i had mine running 14.1@103.5 up at Beechbend. i roll thru the boro every now and then

You want help? There are TONS and TONS of people here who can help you. But you gotta try to learn on your own. There is no cliffnotes version to this car or these boards.

And if you search carefully, you have to be able to find some info on boost levels achieved and whp numbers. We don't need another thread like this.
